Hundreds of handwritten notes
Words are my love language. So for this first chapter, everyone who orders The Ginger gets a note from me. By hand. Every single one.

Words are my love language. They always have been, and they always will be.
In fact, I studied journalism in college. I had a blog before it was cool. I’ve stayed up all night just writing when words felt like they were bursting to come out. I’m a writer.
And I have written my way through most of my life. So when it came time to send The Ginger out into the world, there was absolutely no version of this story where I wasn’t going to write a note to every single woman who ordered one.
Now I know there are obviously faster ways to launch a brand. And I would be lying if I didn’t admit how painful the writing cramps were. I mean, it got downright hilarious some nights.
But NEON PALM has been built by people showing up for the idea, and for The Ginger.
Friends. Former colleagues. Women who answered surveys. Women who tested samples. Creators who said yes when there was barely anything to show them yet. Investors who believed in the idea because they had believed in me somewhere along the way.
And I wanted every first order to feel like it came from an actual person, because it did.
And sure, maybe someday we’ll ship too many Gingers for me to write every note. I mean, I sure hope so.
I hope we never become so “efficient” that we forget a woman is opening the other side of the package.
And that means not just something to me. That means everything.
So for this first chapter, everyone who orders The Ginger will get a handwritten note from me.
Saying thank you, directly to her, as it should be.
Cheers to building beautiful things,
Joanna
